We recently helped liquidate over 30 truckloads of plywood that had sustained freight-related damage during overseas transport. While the product itself remained structurally sound, shifting during transit caused edge damage and compromised packaging, making it unsuitable for the original high-end customer.
Rather than letting the inventory go to waste, we worked directly with the owning party to develop a fast and effective liquidation strategy. Over the course of just four weeks, we successfully moved the entire stock out of the U.S. warehouse and placed it with a range of buyers across multiple industries—companies that were able to look past the cosmetic flaws and repurpose the plywood for their specific needs.
